Sixth Form Enrichment

As part of our Sixth Form offer, students are given the opportunity to undertake various enrichment activities to broaden their horizons.

18-4-18

18-4-18 is our Sixth Form enrichment programme, designed around our core values of Courage, Ambition, Aspiration, Respect and Expression. It provides students with a wealth of opportunities to broaden their horizons, develop new skills and make a meaningful contribution both within Charnwood College and the wider community.

Through the programme, students can take part in a diverse range of activities, including university visits, Camps International expeditions, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and prestigious academic competitions such as the Chemistry Olympiad and Senior Maths Challenge. Students are also encouraged to support younger learners through reading and maths mentoring, helping to foster a culture of collaboration and leadership.

Beyond Charnwood College, students have the opportunity to volunteer in local primary schools, contributing to reading initiatives, sports activities and music events. These experiences help students develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of social responsibility, preparing them for success in higher education, the workplace and beyond.
